ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture involves the insertion of almost hair-thin needles into specific points on the body’s surface. Needles are sterile and single use only. Unlike hypodermic needles, acupuncture needles are solid. Acupuncture typically doesn’t hurt. You may, however, experience a variety of sensations with acupuncture. These sensations can include: tingling, warmth, a mild pressure and a feeling like water flowing through you. Many patients feel nothing but most find the experience very relaxing with noticeable benefits and lasting effects.
The exact mode of action for acupuncture is unclear and has not been widely utilized in western medicine. Much research has been done in the field to discover how placing needles in precise locations can have results elsewhere in the body. Accepted theories point to a connection with the nervous system, immune system, endorphins, and neurotransmitters to name a few. Despite the mystery, acupuncture is an ancient form of medicine with proven results and is used to treat a variety of ailments while promoting overall wellness including both physical and mental health.
Common conditions acupuncture is used to treat:
Eye, Ear, Nose, Throat Disorders
Circulatory Disorders
Gastrointestinal Disorders
Gynecological/ Fertility Disorders
Hormonal Imbalance
Immune Disorders
Addiction
Emotional and Psychological Disorders/Stress
Musculoskeletal and Neurological Disorders
CUPPING THERAPY
Cupping Therapy is an ancient pain relief modality used in many cultures around the world. Cupping has it's roots in Chinese medicine but has historically been used throughout Eastern Asia, Greece, Mexico, and several Eastern European countries. The therapy consists of adhering glass or plastic cups to the body using fire or another techniques to create a vacuum that is used to apply negative pressure.
The tight suction of the cup helps to release the fascia layer and can assist in dissolving myofascial knots. Most patients describe it as a comfortable and relaxing treatment. The treatment results in a discoloration on the skin which help to activate the body's inflammatory reduction system. The bruise-like marks trigger the body to send more blood flow to the particular area. Cupping is effective as a standalone treatment or in combination with acupuncture.
DRY NEEDLING
Dry Needling by a Licensed Acupuncturist
Dry needling is used to treat muscle tension, trigger points, and movement restrictions that contribute to pain and dysfunction. It is commonly helpful for neck, shoulder, back, and hip pain; headaches and jaw or facial tension; sciatica and nerve-related pain patterns; sports and overuse injuries; postural strain; and limited range of motion—especially when symptoms have been persistent or resistant to stretching, massage, or exercise alone.
Although often presented as a separate modality, dry needling is fundamentally trigger-point acupuncture, using the same sterile, single-use filiform needles and targeting the same muscular and fascial tissue. The difference is not the technique—it is the depth of training of the practitioner performing it.
Licensed acupuncturists complete 2,500–4,000+ hours of formal education and supervised clinical training focused specifically on anatomy, neurophysiology, and needle safety. This extensive training includes precise instruction in needle depth, angle, and tissue differentiation—critical when treating sensitive regions such as the neck, rib cage, spine, hips, and jaw. In contrast, many non-acupuncturist dry needling certifications require only a small fraction of this training.
Choosing a licensed acupuncturist for dry needling means receiving care from a provider whose primary clinical skill is safe, precise needle-based therapy. Treatment can also be integrated with acupuncture, cupping, manual therapy, and nervous system regulation to address not only where pain is felt, but the underlying patterns contributing to it—supporting more effective and longer-lasting results.
Dry needling services are performed within the scope of licensure and tailored to each individual’s condition, comfort level, and health history

Acute Conditions: Laser therapy has been shown to be effective to help treat acute conditions. Bringing pain under control quickly helps the healing process and usually helps promote better outcomes.
Chronic Conditions: With chronic conditions, research has shown that therapy lasers can be used to help combat persistent pain and promote circulation to damaged tissues. It can be a powerful, non-pharmaceutical solution to help reduce pain without the side effects of medication.
Post-Activity Recovery: LightForce® Therapy Lasers can be found on the sidelines of many pro, college, and Olympic sports teams across the United States and many parts of Europe and Asia. MICRONEEDLING
What is it? Microneedle treatment using the AcuLift™ MicroPen system promotes the natural production of collagen and elastin which are responsible for skin structure and elasticity. As we age, these fibers break down and can cause wrinkles.
How does it work? The AcuLift™ MicroPen system uses extremely fine, sterile needles to penetrate the skin just enough to stimulate collagen and elastin production without permanent injury to the skin. It can improve skin texture and color reduce wrinkles, acne scars and dramatically enhance effectiveness of skincare products.
